I have seen a few posts like this and thought it would be fun to write, as well as a real challenge in terms of narrowing down what products I would run out and purchase immediately. It would be near impossible for my to lose literally all of my makeup – I often find a lip gloss or eyeliner hiding in a handbag I haven’t used in months, or at the back of my bathroom cabinets. However, if this tragedy were to happen I would run to the closest Nordstroms and Sephora [while sobbing] faster than you can say sarah loves makeup.
Here are the products I wouldn’t be able to live without:
- Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation: after having tried a ton of foundations from both the department store and drugstore, this one is still my absolute favorite [with Rimmel's Match Perfection coming in at a close second]. It blends into skin for a seamless, flawless finish and lasts all day. I have been out of this foundation for a while and after scraping the bottom of the tube [literally], I’ve decided it is time to repurchase.
- Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: this concealer is creamy, non-drying and works well on the under eye area as well as to cover blemishes.
- Rimmel Stay Matte Powder: no other powder keeps my skin matte and shine free like this very affordable one by Rimmel.
- Jouer Mattifying Bronzer in Sunswept: I’ve gone on and on about this product in several posts, so I’ll just say, go out and try it because it is bronzer perfection – the perfect shade for contouring or bronzing up the face.
- Le Metier de Beaute Creme Fresh Tint for Lip and Cheek in Poppy: this cream blush creates the most gorgeous natural pink glow on the cheeks, and looks equally as lovely when applied to the lips. I’ve had Poppy for about two years and I still have a ton of product left.
- Le Metier de Beaute Dualistic Eye Pencil in Tamarack: I love products that can be used in more than one way – which is why I am obsessed with this pencil. It works so well as a base for eyeshadow, and is the perfect shade to wear on the waterline.
- Marc Jacobs Magic Marc’er Precision Pen: I have worn this felt-tipped, liquid liner almost everyday this month. It is so easy to use – great for creating the perfect cat eye, and the line will not budge throughout the day [or night].
- Le Metier de Beaute True Colour Eyeshadow in Jojo: One of the first posts I ever wrote was about this product because it is, by far, my most used eyeshadow. When I’m not sure what eye makeup I want to use or if I’m in a rush, I always reach for Jojo. It is a gorgeous neutral champagne shade that goes with everything.
- Maybelline The Falsies Mascara: This mascara is hands-down the best for achieving the fullest, longest lashes imaginable.
- Tom Ford Lip Color in Pink Dusk: Tom Ford’s lipsticks have the creamiest long-lasting formula I have ever tried and Pink Dusk, a pink-nude is my perfect everyday shade.
- Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss in Heartbreaker: I wrote an entire post about this neutral pink gloss with fine gold shimmer. This gloss is really comfortable to wear, and I love how the fine shimmer makes lips appear fuller.
- Nyx Xtreme Lip Cream in Nude Peach Fuzz: This product delivers creamy, opaque color that lasts hours, and the formula feels comfortable on the lips, doesn’t settle into fine lines, and is non-drying.
